Tell the concierge a mood, like “somewhere it's getting dark, with rain”, and it checks live weather and daylight to pick one of 26 rooms. The room's light follows the real sun, so Lisbon at dusk looks like dusk.
The room is painted, but everything in it is real: a located photo of the view, the local weather and sunset, a live local radio station, a public-domain book, a painting from an open museum collection and a snack from an open food database. Each object names its source.
Some objects are doors. Van Gogh's Bedroom on the wall in Paris leads to Arles, and guided trails follow writers and painters from city to city. A journal keeps your stamps, and you can send the route to a friend.
